My God and King, tonight I praise You for Your character. You love justice, equity, and righteousness. I want to pursue those same things with fire and vigor tomorrow. Tonight, as I lay in my bed and think about tomorrow, give me vision of how to pursue these things with passion. Show me how to be just in all my dealings. Teach me how to pursue equity in my community. Lead me in paths of righteousness for Your glory. I want to wake up with the rising sun, empowered by Your Spirit, seeing clearly the calling You’ve placed before me. Keep me from complacency and give me urgency. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
