Dear Heavenly Father, You are worthy of my undying devotion. I want to ascribe all the honor, obedience, and worship due to You. As I rest tonight, I want the day's worries to dissolve into the darkness and Your glory to be all I have on my mind. I want praise to be my guide to rest and worship to be my companion on the path to peace. While others grow hardened and bitter each night, I ask that You soften my heart and envelop me with Your goodness. May joy await me in my dreams, and purpose await me with the morning sun. In Jesus’ name, I believe and pray, Amen.
