Good and holy God, the heavens declare Your majesty, and the fulness of the earth is under You. I could live a thousand lifetimes and never fully grasp the expanse of Your glory. The sun has set, and a blanket of shadows covers the earth. I ask that You would cover me with comfort. Envelop me with Your mercy and steadfast love. Give me rest that can only come from God above. As I sleep, flood my mind with thoughts of awe, gratitude, and thanksgiving. As my body recovers from the day, restore my heart and mind. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
