Dear Lord, You are the great warrior who fights for us and protects us against our enemies. Like a mighty army, You guard over me and all I hold dear. I pray that You will cover me with Your shield of protection as I sleep, keeping me safe from all harm and danger.
Lord, I pray that I will always have a healthy fear of You. May I never forget that You are the holy and righteous God who created the heavens and the earth. May I always remember that You alone are worthy of my worship and devotion. So as I close my eyes tonight, I surrender myself to Your loving hands. Protect me, guide me, and fill me with Your peace. In Jesus' Name, I pray, amen.
