Psalm 67:1
Oh Lord my God, let everything that has breath praise You! May everyone know Your grace and power personally. As I sleep tonight, envelop me with Your heavenly light and remind me that everything is in Your control. I confess that sometimes I want to control every detail of my life, forgetting that You alone have the power to tie in everything for my good and Your glory. As I relax my body, I pray my mind will also release control and be freed from anxiety. I declare that You are in control. I want to eliminate my propensity towards anxiety and trust in Your sovereignty. Place Yourself firmly on the throne of my heart and mind as I sleep. I will rest soundly in the shadow of Your power and glory. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
