Psalm 53:2
Dear Lord, only a fool would deny You. To those who have ever pondered their purpose or considered their eternity, You have shown Yourself perfect and true. You do not remain high and separated from us; You bend down to bless us. You reveal Yourself to princes, peasants, sinners, saints, scholars, and servants. Anyone who seeks You will be met with perfect love and peace. That is why tonight before I lay my head to rest, I will rejoice that You have revealed Yourself to me. Before I drift away in a sea of dreams, I will anchor my heart in You. I will not be put to shame or be left in ignorance because You have been faithful to reveal Yourself to me. Show me Your grace tonight. Settle my heart in Your peace. Anchor my soul in You, Lord Jesus. In Your name, I pray, Amen.
