Psalm 48:1
Dear God, place me tonight in Your perfect will. Take me to that mountain where streams of living water flow. Lay me down gently on a bed of grass and on a hill where I can behold Your glory upon the land. Take my hand, and lead me into peace. I want to gaze upon Your glory before I sleep. Give me a glimpse of Your plans for Your people. Show me a sliver of Your hope for the nations. I want to drift to bed with hope and faith in Your Kingdom. I want to rejoice in You, even when things seem dark because I know what the future holds. I know that there is a King who reigns with righteousness. He is the King of the universe and the bringer of peace. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
