Psalm 41:1
Father, You are a God of compassion and charity. You look upon the poor and needy. You consider the broken and barren and extend them mercy. Grant me that same heart - a heart of tenderness and compassion for those in need. Keep me away from corruption and greed. I want to follow You with integrity. I want to worship You righteously. Forgive me for my sins, and relieve me from the heaviness of iniquity. I know You delight in me because You have freed me from the enemy. Please uphold me. Bless me and set me in Your presence forever. Uphold me as I sleep; when I rise, fill me afresh with Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, I trust and pray, Amen.
