Psalm 35

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. Yes, let them say continually, 'The Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.'

Psalm 35:27
Dear Lord, my God, You are the source of life and encouragement. You are a safe harbor amid uncertain and unruly seas. Sometimes the chaos and calamity of the world can overwhelm me, and I feel myself slip into anxiety. Sometimes I feel like a sheep among wolves, and my worry keeps me from resting. But You, my Shepherd, silence the howling of wolves. You speak the truth when lies seek to tear me down. You establish peace when contention calls me away. As I lay my head to rest, let my final sighs be refrains of praise to You. As I drift, let me dream of Your goodness. When I arise in the morning, empower me to be unhindered by the world's cruelty and focused solely on Your word. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
