Psalm 33:12
Lord, tonight I pray that You would settle me in Your timing. I know everything happens in Your timing and on Your terms. Creation thumps and beats to Your heartbeat. Help me to march in that same rhythm. Give me a healthy fear of Your majesty and awe of Your greatness so I might walk humbly through this life. You frustrate the plans of prideful people and swallow up the endeavors of evildoers. Keep me in a fearful reverence of You so that I can share in the beautiful inheritance of Jesus. I want to wait and pause in preparation for Your providential movement. I trust You, and I love You. And it’s in Your Son’s Holy Name, I pray, Amen.
