Psalm 16:8
Lord, You are the prize I seek and the treasure my Spirit longs for. Others may search for riches, fame, and talent, but I want You. There is no real goodness apart from You, so keep me close and don’t let me go. I want to bless You with my life and rejoice in Your goodness for all eternity. Make Your ways evident to me, and continually show me the path to peace. You hold my life and future in Your hands. You have mapped out all my days. There is no reason to fear whatever storms may come if You are with me. May I rest secure in my inheritance tonight. May I sleep knowing that my salvation, soul, and sanctification are solely in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
