Dear Heavenly Father, as I close my eyes tonight, I thank You for Your grace that has sustained me until this very moment. Thank You for Your mercy that has kept me through the storms of life. Thank You for Your power that has set me on high, and made me a conqueror. Tonight, oh Lord, I pray that You will give me the trust to believe in Your power over everything.
So tonight, Lord, I don't just pray for a good night's sleep but an awakening in my spirit. Awakening to Your glory and Your goodness. Awakening to Your grace and Your mercy. I close my eyes tonight with the assurance that You are in control. With the knowledge that You have already gone ahead of me, and prepared a way for me. And with the faith that Your mercies will be new in the morning. In the matchless name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
