Blessed be the Lord, my rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle.

Psalm 144:1
Dear God, I am mindful tonight of Your greatness. You touch the mountains and they erupt with power. Lightning follows Your direction like a bow from an arrow. You stretch Your hand from on high, rescue the oppressed, and cast judgment on the oppressor. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is beyond Your ability. So I pray confidently tonight, asking for rest and strength to conquer tomorrow. I pray for a sharp mind and a firm foundation. I want to passionately attack the morning and greet the new day refreshed by Your Spirit. There is much to be done and many battles to be won. I pray for power in the name of Your Son, Amen.
