Psalm 130:1
Dear God, tonight my soul will wait for You. Amid a frenetic, anxious, and whirling world, I will remain still and watch diligently for You to move. Though everything around me is moving and causing distraction, I can trust that You are working in the margin. Like a watchman in the night, I will remain steadfast and vigilant. I will put my hope in You and You alone so the fickle nature of the world does not take my joy. Settle my soul tonight, and show me Your goodness as I dream. Reveal Your pleasing and perfect will, and rejuvenate me for the day ahead. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
