Psalm 127

Unless The Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.

Psalm 127:1
Gracious God, tonight I pray for favor. As I drift tonight, laying my head down to rest, I think about all the things I have to do and things I want to accomplish. The only thing I fear more than failure is succeeding at something without purpose. Unless You are in the work I do, the work is meaningless. I pray that You would reveal what truly matters and give me the diligence to pursue it passionately. I want to honor You in all I do, or else it is done in vain. Give me vision tonight, so I might secure a legacy of faithfulness that lasts throughout the generations. Allow opportunities to work diligently for something greater than myself, so I can sleep soundly, knowing I have earned my rest. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
