Psalm 120:1
Dear God, keep my heart far from lies and hedge me in tonight by Your mercy and grace. When the corruption of culture corners me and tempts me to compromise, rescue me swiftly. I pray not only for rest from the weariness but also for my spirit. The longer I go without nourishment from You, the more susceptible I am to temptation. Rejuvenate me tonight, and give me the power to thwart the lies of the enemy. May tonight replenish my soul and conditioning for combatting the kingdom of darkness. I want to be equipped in every way to battle boldly tomorrow. Strengthen me tonight, in You and You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
