Psalm 114:7
Mighty God, tonight I take great comfort that You are for me and not against me. The seas, for all their force, still split at Your command. For all their might, the mountains still flee like lambs when Your roar. I sleep without fear tonight, for the Lion of Judah roars behind me. I can have courage because the Creator of the cosmos is on my side. Settle me in this reality tonight as I sleep. Give me fresh fire tomorrow as I rise with the morning light. I am more than a conqueror in Christ! Give me confidence as I sleep and strength when I wake. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
