Psalm 112:1
Dear God, I come before You tonight with a heart burdened by the demands and pressures of daily life. As I lay down to sleep, I ask that You grant me the blessing of restful and rejuvenating sleep. Lord, I acknowledge that in this fast-paced and ever-changing world, it can be challenging to maintain deep-rooted convictions of faith and to keep my eyes fixed upon You. There are so many distractions and temptations that seek to pull me away from Your embrace. But tonight, I ask for Your strength and grace so that I may stand firm in my faith and resist the lures of the world. Help me to remain steadfast in my commitment to follow You, even when culture seeks to pull me down a perverse path. I thank You for Your never-ending love and the comfort and peace that You bring. Thank You for hearing my prayer, and I trust that You will guide me through the night and wake me up to a new day filled with Your endless blessings. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
