Psalm 11:4
My God and King, You are my foundation. You are the stronghold for my heart, mind, and soul. You reign on a throne of righteousness and holiness. If You were to give me even a fraction of Your presence, it would be enough to satisfy me for a thousand lifetimes. But You don’t just give me a fraction… You offer me the fullness of who You are. While the wicked have fashioned their weapons to win the war of life, You have placed me behind You so I might behold Your victory. It is a sweet and comforting thing to know I am safe in You, and my future is held firmly in the same hands that hold the heavens. I love You, Lord. Help me to sleep soundly in Your loving arms tonight. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
