Dear Lord, tonight I want to thank You for Your compassion. As a father understands the limitations of a child, You have patiently considered my weaknesses. You do not hold me to an unrealistic standard; instead, You lift me on Your shoulders so I can walk in Your purposes. You know my frame and understand that I am made of dust. I do not want to be crippled by my weakness; I want to see them as an opportunity for Your strength to be shown. Help me with patience tonight, and make me rest in Your gentle embrace. Tomorrow will be filled with moments of faith and failure, and I can be at ease knowing that You love me through both. In Jesus’ name, I relax. In Jesus’ name, I feel at ease. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
